SYMBIOTIC RELATIONSHIP
The relationship between a green heron and an alligator is symbiotic. The green heron lives in cypress trees of a North Carolina swamp and since they are wading birds they use objects/tools to attract fish. The green heron in doing this also gives the alligator a chance to feed on the fish and the green heron uses the alligator for protection against other predators. This relationship is mutualistic, because both species benefit from one another's actions.
